Boys’ fall short in preseason
October 29, 2015
The boys’ varsity soccer team lost their first preseason game to Melbourne High School 1-0 on Tuesday night. Junior midfielder Nicholas Burgess created chances during the game including two shots.
“We created many scoring opportunities but couldn’t get a goal, we now know what we need to work on to get better for the regular season,” Burgess said. “The season looks bright, we just have to keep working hard.”
The boys play their next preseason game on Thursday night against the Holy Trinity tigers at 6 p.m.
