Where can you find robots, award winning musicians and thespians, hands on labs and home room flags in one place? The annual Barnes and Noble Night of course. The event will take place Dec. 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Melbourne store.

Not only will students be able to support the school, there are also myriad activities such as robots on display and hands-on science labs.

“It’s exciting that robots will be there because they’re something you can’t normally see or interact with,” sophomore Rachel Montgomery said. “Science is an intriguing subject, and I think the hands on activities can help inspire more kids to pursue science in their lives.”

Aside from intriguing activities, the winning home room flags from each grade level will be on display for the public to vote on an overall winner, which will receive a pizza party. Further, the school’s music and theater programs also will perform.

“A big group of us dress up as Disney characters. I was Snow White [last year],” junior Lizzie Guerra said. “The kids and the adults both love to see their favorite characters in person.”
