Test tube travails
In AP Chemistry, sophomore David Freeman determines whether a certain reaction is endothermic or exothermic in its forward reaction. The students will also be observing certain color changes as their reaction occurs. “We’re trying to determine the effects of adding excess reactants on the position of the equilibrium,” junior Lydia Kline said. “We are using LeChâtelier’s Principle to easily determine this equilibrium.”
