Muddy the water
In APES, sophomore Evan Cooper runs water through his eco-column. Students are creating eco-columns with plants at the top, an aquifer in the middle, and an aquatic habitat at the bottom, but during assembly, they have to rinse them a number of time to keep the filters–made out of bottle caps–from getting clogged. “[The water] kept coming out like poopy water,” senior Jessica Blanco said.

"We've had no issues, no snafus. Everything's been running smoothly, and we've been getting kids to class on time.”](https://westshoreroar.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IMG_9979-1200x800.jpg)
