As her trebuchet launches junior Kendall Hinson watches her projectile fly through the air. “Our projectile had to be launch a distance of five times the length of our throwing arm to get full credit, and if the projectile went over the distance requirements than we received extra credit,” junior Amanda Moscrip said. The yearly trebuchet project is usually awaited or dreaded by physics students, who can work either in groups or individually.
