There were many questions going around about all the basketballs being carried in the halls. I would ask my friends about them, and they would just say they were for extra credit. Now that I know the story behind them, I will donate basketballs even though I’m not in Susan Orton’s class. The thought of helping the Michael-Gene Foundation was very generous of her and also the Futch family for putting this all together and donating to groups in need to honor Michael.
