Trump to hold rally at Melbourne airport Tuesday

Right after his debate with Hillary Clinton on Monday night, Trump will be stopping by the Melbourne International Airport for a rally on Tuesday, minutes away from the Wildcat Nation.

Sophomore Janet Lu is interested to see how the nearby rally will affect their regular school day on Tuesday.

“Well I know for one thing that the traffic is going to be really bad all day around the airport, so I’m planning on leaving for school early so I can make it on time,” she said.

Senior Courtney Vanover is also worried about traffic problems but also excited to see what will come out of the rally.

“I think it’s pretty cool,” Vanover said. “I want to see what the students that are going to be attending the rally have to say about it.”

However, junior Ashley Rivera is not so excited about the upcoming rally.

“It’s like having the nostalgia of being close to a famous person,” Rivera said. “And not Beyonce famous, more like Carly Rae Jepson famous, mixed with seeing someone throw-up.”

The rally will be held on Tuesday at the Melbourne International Airport with the doors opening at 4 p.m. Tickets are required to attend.
