As security measurements continue to be taken in public schools throughout the country, administration has implemented new gun-free zone signs in several locations throughout campus. These signs serve the purpose of reminding all individuals that all forms of weaponry are not allowed on campus, even for those with concealed carrying licenses, unless they are a law enforcement official. This step was taken in the hopes that students will remain safe and avoid a dangerous situation.
