Peppa Pig theme park is located in Winter Haven, just west of Orlando.

The world’s first Peppa Pig Theme Park is scheduled to open soon at the LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven.

Legoland said in a press release last month that its new theme park based on the British animated TV show Peppa Pig will open Feb. 24. The standalone park geared towards preschoolers will open a year after it was first announced.

“Every corner of the charming new park is crafted with preschoolers in mind, from their first roller coaster rides with their parents and free fair games for the whole family, to an all-terrain course where they will pedal tricycles through a sensory-rich trail and a colorful splash pad that celebrates “muddy puddles” jumping fun!” the press release reads. “Through every experience, families will snort, giggle, and create their family’s first theme park memories together with Peppa and her friends.”

The new park will have roller coasters, live shows, water play areas, nature trails, themes restaurants, a tree house and even boat rides.

Sophomore Anjani Sharma, said she’s looking forward to the opening.

“I decided to pre-ordered passes because me and my friend have and obsession with Peppa Pig,” Sharma said. “I thought I would have a great time.”

Sharma said she’s most looking forward to a roller-coaster ride.

“My friend and I saw the Daddy Pig Coaster and we really like the environment,” she said. “We thought it would be really cool to go to a Peppa Pig theme park. My friend and I go theme parks a lot and it would seem pretty cool to combine the things we love.”

Eighth-grader Jack P., said he’s looking forward to visiting the park.

“I’m pretty excited actually,” he said. “I would have to say I’m most excited for the Muddy Puddles splash pad. I watched Peppa Pig a lot when i was little kid, so I think I will enjoy it.”
