“Fiddler on the Roof” is the all-school musical that will be performed in the school auditorium on Oct. 16-19. “The play takes place in a town in Russia,” sophomore Lizzie Guerra said. “It’s about a family and their traditions during the time of injustice and persecution of the Jewish population.” Lead roles include junior Geoffrey Garrido as Tevye, junior Dulcy Olson as Golde, senior Kara Marin as Tzeitel, sophomore Emily Browne as Hodel, senior Erin Sheridan as Chava, seventh-graders Sabrina T. as Shipintze and Natasha M. as Bielke, and senior Evy Sotolongo as Motel Kamzo. “It’s scary but awesome that I got one of the lead roles,” Garrido said. “[Director Maureen] Fallon told me last year that I would be given the role and she wouldn’t have given it to me if she didn’t think I was capable of playing the role, and plus I think my personality is similar to my character.” Tickets are $11 and are on sale at showtixforyou.com
