President Donald Trump was officially sworn into office Friday, and around the Wildcat Nation, many students had differing opinions on what new president plans to do for the country.

“I can see why people hated the inauguration and I can see why people loved it,” junior Piper Jenkins said. “I just hope that the country is run smoothly, but not being run straight into the ground.”

 Junior Kyle Canaday shared similar views on the inauguration and what the future holds for Trump’s presidency.

“I think it should be pretty interesting,” Canaday said. “This whole election has had everybody divided, and his inauguration isn’t any different. It’ll be interesting to see how the country goes along with this huge divide of its people.
