The Students Against Destructive Decisions Club will not be carrying out its secret plan this school year.

“It’s just not really viable at this point in the school year, especially with [the recently completed] Senior Boards and all the testing coming up,” SADD Club sponsor Jessica Hartman said.

Every year, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office holds a contest for Public Service Announcements about destructive decisions.

“If we do it next year, hopefully we will be able to enter it in the contest, and it will get more visibility that way,” Hartman said.

She said she believes it could win awards, and have more of an impact than on just our school campus.
