The girls’ lacrosse team lost to Cocoa Beach High School 7-6 on March 14. Despite losing the, freshman Ashton Braid and Daniah Jarrah but both said the team can play together much better.

“We played good but at the same time I feel like we could have played better,” Braid said. “Honestly we have a good defense and offense it’s just we need to go to the goal and score more like driving in basketball.”

The team was missing Junior defender Anna Feldbush due to a concussion and her return is unknown.

“They didn’t totally destroy us considering some of our other scores,” Jarrah said “But since we are such a young team we did pretty well.”

The Lady ‘Cats next play Tuesday, March 21 at Rockledge.
