Senior Follies ready to roll

An annual event hosted by the Senior Class, Senior Follies will be held on Friday in the gym. There will be two shows: a “teaser” buyout presentation during homeroom, and a full-length showing at 6 p.m.

Tickets will be sold during lunch through Friday. Buyout tickets cost $2. Admission to the night show is $4 in advance and $5 at the door.

Senior Follies allows members of the senior class and their teachers poke fun at each other through pre-approved skits.

“I’ve only been to it once and I have a bad opinion of it because they did some things in it when I went that I didn’t think was very appropriate,” said Government and Economics teacher Bob Sarver. “The teachers making fun of other teachers, I didn’t appreciate what they did.”

This year, senior Jake Dimond will be taking on the role of Assistant Principal of Facilities Robert Farrell.

“It’s a free excuse to mock an administrator publicly,” Dimond said. “You only get so many chances for that.”
