One of its features is locally made floats created by Girls Scout and Boy Scout groups, local businesses, churches and other a number of other groups in the community. Some other features the parade will have are bands, dance teams, ROTC groups, and Mr. and Mrs. Clause riding on a float.

Anisha S. (8) said she’s hoping the novelty of the parade will bring people in the community into Christmas spirit.  “People could also be attracted to the parade because to them going to that parade is a sign Christmas is coming,” sje said.

There is no fee to watch the parade. There will be a food and toy drive that the parade will be conducting for the spectators to participate in. Nonperishable food items, unwrapped toys, and cat or dog food will be collected by volunteers walking with the first float of the parade.
