Girls swim team crushes Eau Gallie 134-33

The girls’ swim team had a meet against the Eau Gallie on Oct. 12 and demolished them 134-33.

“I ended up getting second to Katelyn Owl, another West Shore girl in my event and then one of the relays I was in got second as well,” sophomore Soha Ramadan said. “Overall our team completely destroyed Eau Gallie.”

This was the last swim meet the girls’ had before they move onto districts.

“Personally, that meet wasn’t my best, but I am hoping to improve as much as I can before districts,” junior Makayla Peterson said. “I feel like our girls’ team is really going to do well this year because we’ve been working pretty hard and I feel like we may even get second this year”.

The girls’ swim districts will be held Oct. 18 at Indian River State College.
