French Honor Society inducts 37

Freshmen Shannon Kay and Cassidy Kuhar were two of the 37 students inducted into French Honors Society Nov. 8.

“It felt really good since it’s like being brought onto a team,” Kay said. “I expected there to be fewer people.”

Kuhar relished her accomplishment.

“It felt really good because you have to have consecutive A’s in the class to be inducted,” she said. This year, there was a total of 33 people getting inducted.

French Honors Society gives students the opportunity to list membership on their college applications.

“I think I will benefit from it by giving new creative ideas because I like to think outside the box and I hope to gain new experiences in working with a big team,” Kay said.
