The cross-country team is working on conditioning in an attempt to improve from their third-place standing heading into Districts on Nov. 1.

“We’re getting better each week we race, and we’ve come a long way since August,” sophomore Grant Gibson said.

Sophomore Angela Seibert, captain of the girls’ varsity team, concurs.

“All the intense training has paid of,” she said. “We’ve all improved our times tremendously.”

Districts will take place at Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School.
