Central Brevard Art Association Art Show and Sale

Central Brevard Art Association and Sale is taking place Friday through Sunday at the Cape Canaveral Public Library.

“Art is something I feel is important to look at once in awhile.” Sophomore Tyler Jack said. “It allows different perspectives to be displayed.”

The Central Brevard Art Association is a non-for-profit organization of local artists trying to promote local appreciation of the arts.

“I think it’s important that local artists are running the organization because they understand the type of struggles there are for artists.” Sophomore Trinity Sweet said.

The Cape Canaveral Public Library is located at 201 Polk Ave. The annual art show is showcasing local artists and their distinctive work such as jewelry, wood, clay and photographs.

“Who knows maybe I’ll come home with a new necklace,” Sweet said.

On Friday and Saturday the times are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday is from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission on all dates.
