Boys’ soccer ties Holy Trinity

The varsity boys’ soccer game ended in a 3-3 tie against the Tigers at Holy Trinity on Thursday night.

“That was an awful game,” Junior captain Robert Madden said. “I don’t even want to talk about it.”

The Wildcats had the lead and possession for the majority of the game. Half way through the third quarter the Tigers caught up.

“Everyone was actually really upset after the game,” Sophomore Nick Burgess said. “By no means should we be satisfied with a tie, especially when we had the win and just let it slip away.”

These results put the boys in the first seat for districts. They will play the winner of the Cocoa Beach versus MCC on Wednesday January 21 to see who advances to regionals.
