Boys’ soccer ready to kick off season

The Wildcats boys’ soccer team play their first regular-season game Thursday.

“By looking at the preseason games and how we practice together I think we will do pretty good this year,” sophomore Matthew Moscrip said.

The boys have been training for the past month.

“The few weeks have been tough with all of the running,” sophomore Sam Leighton said. “But coach has done a really good job of keeping it fun with games like soccer tennis and going to the FIT men’s home games,” he said.

Their first game is this Thursday at home against Sebastian River. Junior varsity starts at 5:30 p.m. and varsity will follow at 7 p.m.
