Boys cruise past Eau Gallie 57-39

Senior Ayden Lew led the way with 9 points as the boys’ varsity basketball team defeated Eau Gallie 57-39 Wednesday.

“We weren’t winning going into halftime, but when we came out from the break we composed ourselves and executed our offense and played great defense and ended up winning by a pretty good margin,” Lew said. “I think what helped us get there was we all had great energy and played passionately.”

The boys now are looking forward to the playoffs.

“It’s very important that we win the rest of our games so we can beat the school win record (16),” junior Khalil Paul said. “That way we will be at our peak and it will be sure to carry over.”
