Bowler places third in Cape Coast tournament

Sophomore Abriana Camilo placed third overall in the Cape Coast Conference tournament Saturday.  With the season coming to a close and districts coming up soon, the team looks to improve.

“I think that practicing and having matches Monday through Thursday really helped the team with improving,” sophomore Duncan Schwarze said. “We have districts coming up on Monday, and I feel that we are prepared to do well and hopefully move onto states.”

Camilo, who is ranked third in the county, rolled a 641 in the tournament.

“The season is going well, and we’ve improved a lot,” she said.

The team next will compete in the district tournament Monday beginning at 4 p.m. The tournament will be held at Harbor Lanes in Palm Bay.
