The academics team ended the season with an undefeated record following its last regular-season match Monday.

As a result of finishing in first place, the West Shore team heads into district competition with confidence.

“I’m really proud of us as a team, and we are headed strong into the district final,” senior Alexandre Beregi said.  “We picked up some new members this year and they’ve proven to be very valuable to the team.” 

The  team will continue on to the district championship round Nov. 26.
