Yearbooks distributed this week
This year’s West Shore yearbooks will be distributed during the week of May 12. Seniors will receive their copies on Monday during homeroom in addition to a pizza party, while all other grades will be administered their books on Tuesday during lunch.
“I’ve never gotten a yearbook before this year at West Shore so I’m pretty excited I’m finally getting one and having all my friends sign it for the last time,” senior Brett Napier said. “It’s meaningful because it’s going to be the lasting memory of a lot of people that you’re going to see in high school but you’ll probably never see again.”
Students will have the opportunity to sign fellow classmates’ yearbooks at their grade’s designated signing party. 11th and 12th graders will have their gathering in the gymnasium, and ninth and 10th graders will be signing in the cafeteria.
“I’m excited for it because it would have all of my classmates in it and all my teachers, so I can look back and remember what happened here and it would be lika a memory,” seventh-grader Cassandra K. said.
Editor’s note: Brevard Public Schools policy prohibits the inclusion of middle-schoolers’ last name on its web sites.
