Needs list donations earn volunteer credit

With cold season just around the corner, the school’s social committee and front office are seeking donations of facial tissues, hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray. Parents can earn up to half of their volunteer hours — one hour for every $5 spent — by making donations to the school. The school also welcomes Walmart or Publix gift cards.

Other items on the school’s list of needs include disinfectant wipes, cases of bottled water, K-Cups for coffee, tea or cocoa, individually wrapped candies and bulk items such as small individual bags of candy and snacks. In addition, the school clinic is asking for large and regular size adhesive bandages, small bottles of water and Gatoraide, peppermint candies and snack crackers.

Be sure to bring a receipt to the school’s front with your purchases and to write your student’s name on the receipt in order to receive volunteer credit.
