Eighth-grader Erynn Moffett scored 23 points and eighth-grader Evelyn Hsieh added 12 more but it wasn’t enough as the girls’ varsity basketball team lost to Satellite 48-46 in overtime Wednesday. 

Junior Chloe Garoust thinks the team can improve by learning from mistakes. 

“I think we can become a better team and move forward by addressing and fixing the problems we faced in the game,” Garoust said.  “I think we could have had fewer turnovers and focused on making our free throws.” 

The girls’ varsity basketball team’s record is now 2-2 and the team is preparing to play against MCC in its home-opener Monday.
