Unknown water leakage confounds officials
School district maintenance workers are puzzled by the emergence of a water leak near the cafeteria and building three.
The water runs about 10 feet from a crack in the sidewalk into a nearby drain. Assistant Principal of Facilities Robert Farrell said officials haven’t yet determined the cause or the exact source of the leak.
“We don’t know what it is,” Farrell said. “The district looked at it, and they don’t know either.”
Since the water is coming from underground, action would need to be taken soon to determine the source of the water and plug the leak.
“At first, the last recourse was to break up the concrete, but now the only recourse is to break ground over spring break,” Farrell said.

"We've had no issues, no snafus.
