A new painting of a cat in an astronaut uniform has appeared in one of the halls of Building 2, and it has become a topic of conversation on campus.
“I thought that it was an amazing representation of our school,” junior Aaron Simms said. “I think it shows how we reach for the stars in our every move.”
Sophomore Maddox Casler said the mural’s creative style caught his attention.
“It shows our school is creative and doesn’t mind standing out,” sophomore Maddox Casler said. “I was surprised but thought it looked really cool and different.”
Others interpret the mural as a message of ambition and possibility.
“I believe that they were trying to show that we can achieve anything,” Simms said.
Casler also said the mural contributes to the school atmosphere.
“Murals like this make school feel more alive and interesting,” Casler said. “It adds color and creativity and makes school feel better.”
