Morning powerlifting draws mixed reviews

Members of  the powerlifting team must train at least three times every week. The question is how much does work get in their way?

“The only time it stresses me out is when I have lots of homework,  because it makes it’s really hard for me to stay awake at school going to bed past 10:30 and waking up before 5 a.m. to lift,” sophomore lifter Jacob Kent.

Sophomore Makayla Peterson, on the other hand, likes the early lifting routine.

“Since I do weightlifting in the morning it doesn’t effect my school work any,” she said. “In fact it encourages me to finish the work I couldn’t get done that night in the morning.”
