Bree Ehmer led the Lady Wildcats to a 4-3 victory against the Bayside Bears on Monday and broke the school record for goals in a high-school career in the process.

“I am so proud of Bree, senior co-captain Catrina Carl said. “She has been working hard for this for so long. I am so happy for her. Achieving that many goals is actually insane and I cannot wait to see what she continues to do. She is my hero.”

The record of 120 goals previously was held by Maci Pekmezian, who graduated in 2020.

“Bree breaking the record is incredible,” winger Kate Burgess said. “Scoring 121 goals in a high school career is actually insane. I am so proud of her and excited to see how many more she scores”.

Back-up goalkeeper Reagan Russo also lauded her teammate.

“She puts so much work into the game and she deserves this moment so much,” she said. “I am so excited for her and what she has accomplished.”
