The boys’ lacrosse team will hold tryouts today after school from 4 to 6 p.m. near the soccer field.

“I’m excited for the tryouts because it’ll be the first look at the team and where everyone is at, ” said senior Gavin Litchfield, a returning varsity player. “I hope anyone who is athletic and wants to give lacrosse a try comes out because we always need more players and have a good chance at the district championship this year.” 

Christian Delaon’s plans to try out out for the time. 

“Mondays and Wednesdays are conditioning with the occasional extra practice on Fridays,” Delaon said. “At home, I practice passing and catching. I also occasionally run to build up endurance.” 

Litchfield said he is pleased with the legacy he is leaving.

“There are a lot of younger players who are going to show up, so the future of the team after the seniors leave looks promising,” he said.
