December 15, 2015
Juniors Evan Lanier and Juan Rodriguez led the ‘Cats with 16 points apiece. Senior Max Cormier added 13, in addition to junior David Thompson’s 9 points. The Wildcats improved to 3-7, good for fifth in the district standings.
“Our offense started off really well in the first half,” Thompson said. “We scored more than 40 points in the first half, which is the most we’ve scored in the first half of any game this season. In the second half, our main goal was to not start off slow, because usually we have a quarter every game where we play very poorly. We came out strong in the third [quarter], and maintained the lead for the entire second half.”
