U-17 Space Coast United to play soccer qualifying matches

The U-17 Space Coast United girls soccer team will be playing in the FSL State Cup Qualifying matches on Saturday and Sunday.

“It’ll be our first games for this season, so we are all really excited and pumped up about this weekend and really want to win,” junior Erin Berube said.

The games scheduled to be played at Palm Bay Regional Park, at 10 a.m. on Saturday in which the girls will be playing against CFK U-18 followed by a 3:30 p.m. match against U-18 Jacksonville United, followed by another match on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. against U-18 Brandon.

” The girls are playing older teams because they need to play so many games in the [Florida State League] to be allowed to play in State Cup in spring.” team director Ilse Berube said via email.
