The Lady Wildcats’ lacrosse team gets pumped up before the game.

The girls’ lacrosse team lost to the Holy Trinity Tigers 13-6 extending its losing streak to 11 games. Newcomer to the team sophomore Zoe Moore isn’t too happy.

“We would just watch ground balls instead of actually going for them,” Moore said. “We weren’t watching girls cutting, not to mention that we didn’t have a single practice before our game on Friday. We just need to play more like we want to win.”

Despite the team the team’s 0-11 record, freshman Casey Ahern had a positive outlook on the 7-point loss to the Tigers.

“The game on Friday against Holy Trinity was a tough game,” she said. “But I thought we did fairly well as a team and played as best and as hard as we could.”

The team will travel to Cocoa Beach High School on Wednesday, and Friday is the team’s Senior Night at home against Edgewood.
