The girls golf season is under way with boys tryouts scheduled for this afternoon.
“Every girl is returning,” Athletic Directer Bonnie Bettis said. “The coach is not making any cuts this year because I think he wants to develop the team.”
Thirteen girls have made the team, but their first practice, scheduled for last Monday, was cancelled due to inclimate weather.
The boys’ team will hold tryouts at 4:30 p.m. today at Viera East golf club.
“The boys team is low this year, and we lost three seniors,” Bettis said. “No cuts will be made to that team either.”
