With two goals, senior Liam Wixted led the boy’s soccer team to an energetic victory over Cocoa High School. The team defeated the Tigers 6-0.
“It was good to play a weak team coming off of break,” Liam Wixted said. “We were able to figure things out and will be ready when we come for Satellite and Melbourne High later on this week.”
With one goal each senior James Bocinsky, junior Richard Dujovne, and sophomores Sam Kundrat and Aidan Wixted also contributed to the onslaught.
“They didn’t really know how to play against us.” Aidan Wixted said. “It’s a different game with Darshan and I back. We were more controlling and had a lot of better movement on top. We have a lot to work on with districts coming up. We have a better team mentality than most though and play a lot better because we are more experienced.”
The team’s plays next at Satellite on Wednesday with J.V. at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m.
