Boys’ soccer rolls in first district game

Leading with two goals each, senior Liam Wixted and junior Richard Dujovne led the boys’ soccer team to their first district win over Atlantic. The team defeated the Sharks 8-0.

“It’s always good going into districts playing a team as bad as Atlantic was,” Wixted said. “It gives us an easy game where the starters can rest for the next game and the subs get a lot of playing time.”

With one goal each seniors James Bocinsky and Tyler Moscrip, junior Ryan Robidoux and sophomore Aidan Wixted added to the rout.

“Our mentality wasn’t that great last night,” Robidoux said. ” We need to improve our mind set for the rest of districts. We have to take our game against Cocoa Beach pretty seriously and capitalize on our opportunities.

The team’s next district game is tonight against Cocoa Beach at 7:30 p.m.
