Boys’ soccer falls to No. 1 Montverde

The boys’ varsity soccer team lost 6-1 to the No. 1 ranked high school team in the country, Montverde Academy on Monday.

“It was an eye-opening performance and a good experience for out team,” sophomore Ryan Robidoux said.

The loss was the boys’ first of the season.

Freshman Darshan Ghayal said the game provided a good indicator his team’s ability, and also showed where the Wildcats can improve.

“It would be an honor just to see the No. 1 team in the nation play, now imagine playing against them,” he said.
