Rosters for the boys’ varsity and junior varsity teams have been announced following Monday’s tryouts.

“Tryouts is the worst day of the basketball season,” Assistant Coach Robert Salazar said. “We are always forced to make tough decisions on who to take. It is never fun telling people that they did not make the team.”

The team plans to participate in the Heritage Preseason Classic on Nov. 17-18 during which they will take on Heritage High on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Melbourne High on Friday at 5:30 p.m.

“We decided to play in this preseason tournament because the competition we will be facing will be fierce,” Coach Tony Riopelle said. “The goal of preseason is just to get better before the regular season starts.”

The following players will represent the boys’ basketball program this season: Scott Adams, Kha Duong, Wil Hoskovec, Adam Kline, Sam Lack, Justin Laneuville, Michael Lucas, Robert Matthews, Shawn Mckeefry, Ben Mechachonis, Chris Mikulas, Brett Napier, Tommy Panouses, Shane Potter, Stryker Sinclair, Ananda Sundararaman, Greg Taveras, Dillon Thompson, Brandon Toothaker, Clay Uhing, Jonathen Wakim, Aaron Walker and Anthony Wattwood.
