The varsity boys’ basketball team lost to Heritage High School 60-45 Thursday night in the Heritage Preseason Classic.
“The preseason is not about winning and losing, its about seeing where you are as a team,” Head Coach Tony Riopelle said. “We played hard for three-fourths of the game, but the small lapse we had cost us the game.”
The team will face off against Melbourne High School at 5:30 p.m. for the second game of the tournament.
“Melbourne is a great opponent for us,” Assistant Coach Bob Salazar said. “It will be a competitive game and a good opportunity to see just how good we are as a team at this point in the season.”
