The men’s and women’s bowling teams beat Palm Bay High at Harbour Lanes on Thursday to avenge an earlier loss in the season.
“The girls really pulled it together, especially for the traditional game, and except for one Baker game they played really well,” Coach Kirk Murphy said via email.
The victory was the women’s second of the season. According to Murphy, seniors Katelyn Kern and Kacie Warshowsky played exceptionally well and seventh-grader Chris M. bowled a 198 in the traditional game.
“Chris started off really hot by throwing strikes five out of the six frames, which kind of sparked the flame for the team and we all started getting strikes and picking up our spares,” senior Brandon Toothaker said.
