Junior Scott Adams led the boys’ varsity basketball team to a 51-25 victory over the Covenant Christian Lions on Monday. Adams scored 14 points and went 11 for 12 from the free-throw line. Adams also had five assists, five steals and six rebounds.

“We really took care of business tonight. We followed the game plan really well,” Assistant Coach Robert Salazar said. “But, if we do not rebound better we are not going to do well in districts.”

The team will face off against John Carroll on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Brevard Christian on Friday, which will mark the season’s final regular-season home game.

“I am looking forward to a fun and competitive game against Brevard Christian,” Coach Tony Riopelle said. “We need to send our four seniors out on a great note.”

Next Wednesday the team will travel to Space Coast Jr/Sr High for its first district playoff game against Astronaut High School. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
