Preparing to measure her classmate’s blood pressure, senior Rachel Alba tightens the cuff. “We’ve done lots of cool labs but this one was one of the more fun ones,” Alba said. “I felt like a real doctor and [I want to be] a nurse practitioner so I’ll have to do this in my future. It was great practice.” The AP Biology students performed this lab as an aid in learning about the cardiovascular system.
