Reenacting scenes from Shakespeare’s play “King Lear”, seniors Daniel Kim and Geoffrey Garrido read from the characters they were assigned by AP Literature teacher, Mary Nelson. “In one part the person I play has his eyes ripped out,” Garrido said. “He’s thrown out into a storm and has his eyes bandaged in another town. To get into the role I took some paper towels that were lying around colored them with marker and I got into the part. When you take those extra steps it really helps bring the story out.” Students in the class are preparing for the exam by acting out scenes from different books they are reading.
