AP Environmental Science students created miniature houses to learn and test the flow of passive solar heating. Junior Justin Thompson created a structure made out of graham crackers and candies. “It took me over two hours, and I ran out of crackers. I was planning on eating it, but it wouldn’t stick so I ended up using glue.” Teacher Paula Ladd resurrected the project after having skipped the assignment in previous years. “It’s neat stuff, and it teaches better than bookwork,” Ladd said.
