As part of physics teacher Joseph Estevez’s daily power hour lessons throughout “Halloweek,” Oct. 23 through Oct. 27, he equipped himself with a golf cart and plastic wrap to demonstrate forces and inertia. An air filled ballon would continue in its original direction of motion when the cart accelerated to the right. However, the helium filled ballon follows the carts direction of motion, which was to the right.
