Surrounded by grease and fried food, West Shore Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls’ Basketball passed out food and flipped hamburgers at a local McDonald’s on August 30th to raise funds for their teams. “Seeing people you know serve you is kind of awkward,” said Senior Rachel Kershaw as she cruised through the drive-in to find sophomore Angela Ahern working the window. “It was interesting see the girls being taught what to do by the employees.” By the end of the night, the girls basketball members raised over $150 dollars for their team.
