In second period, freshman Amanda Moscrip signs the farewell card for Dr. Twila Patten, who announced Thursday that she is stepping down to take a job with the U.S. Department of Defense schools in Georgia. Former West Shore English teacher Patti Gates will fill in for Patten for the remainder of the year.
