To demonstrate that items of the same size fall at the same rate regardless of their mass, junior Ashley Jerrell drops a bowling ball to the ground in AP Physics. The rate of the bowling ball’s fall was compared to that of a soccer ball. “We didn’t think [physics teacher John Krehbiel] was really going to drop them until they hit the ground,” senior Carleigh Walter said.
